Aviva Canada / Aviva AutoCare Centre in Mississauga is seeking an experienced Workshop Lead to supervise a team of auto body technicians. You will coordinate daily operations, ensure quality, and drive improvements while upholding safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in auto repair leadership.
• Proven coaching and team development skills.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and repair procedures.
• Proficiency with shop management systems.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the work of mechanics and technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
• Plan, schedule, and assign work to the team, considering priorities, deadlines, and available resources.
• Inspect completed work, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to improve performance.
• Find opportunities to promote customer satisfaction and process improvement.
• Maintain quality and technical standards within the site.
• Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Deliver on promises made to customers, ensuring minimal downtime for their vehicles.
• Identify and resolve issues and blockages that interrupt the workflow in the workshop.
• Oversee training needs, ensuring appropriate training is delivered.
• Ensure an appropriate level of resources to meet customer demands.
• Make decisions based on knowledge and data.
• Conduct performance reviews and develop talent within the team.
• Promote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goals.
