  • Manage daily, hourly, and real-time manpower and GSE plans for the YUL operation.
  • Allocate GSE and manpower to meet customer and Menzies Aviation needs.
  • Obtain inbound and outbound load plans from customers.
  • Serve as the direct contact providing real-time operational information to Ramp Teams, Airlines, and Station Manager.
  • Provide Load Plans to Ramp/Zone Supervisors/Dispatchers for flights.
  • Record aircraft and ramp team arrival and departure times.
  • Notify the Station Manager of delays or service failures.
  • Update and communicate aircraft times to ramp crews.
  • Record GSE defects and coordinate with maintenance.
  • Collect walk-around check sheets for each flight.
  • Manage staff absences and adjust ramp teams accordingly.
  • Assign GSE to ramp teams, ensuring check sheets are completed before shifts.
  • Ensure safety and security procedures are followed per regulations and standards.
  • Monitor performance and address shortfalls.
  • Liaise with various airport stakeholders.
  • Work shifts as required.
  • Report operational deficiencies to the Manpower Planning Manager.
  • Suggest improvements, especially related to safety and security.
  • Prepare disciplinary or termination reports if needed.
  • Promote a safety culture within the company.
  • Perform tasks according to company and airline procedures and policies.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in Canada.
  • Experience in ground handling at a high-volume international airport.
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English.
  • Valid G or G2 Driver’s license.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain required security clearances.
  • Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Knowledge of international airline ramp procedures, aviation safety, and security standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of ramp GSE.
  • Ability to provide real-time operational plans and manage ramp teams.
  • Reliability and teamwork are essential.
