Job summary

AtkinsRéalis, in Canada, partners on CanAtom to deliver the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment. The Workforce Deployment Coordinator oversees OPG security clearance and plant access badging for personnel on the Darlington and Pickering sites, ensuring compliant onboarding and timely processing.

You will initiate clearance applications, verify documentation, manage renewals, obtain dose history, and serve as the single point of contact for the OPG Clearance Office and onboarding

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of related administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Initiate OPG Clearance applications with joint-venture employees, subcontractors and potential new hires.
• Assist in accurate completion and submission of clearance applications including verification of identification and supporting documentation as per OPG clearance procedural requirements.
• Issue compliance reports, track and confirm completion of clearance renewals ensuring all employees maintain active clearance status.
• Obtain all worker dose history from National Dose Registry.
• Act as single point of contact for OPG Clearance Office in the processing of all related security clearance applications, renewals and actions.
• Act as single point of contact for all access requests for onboarding.
• Provide and assist with completion of Radiological Access Forms during new hire onboarding.
• Facilitate TLD verification and requirements for new and existing employees.
• Assist projects with visitor badging and requirements as needed.
• Support the greater AtkinsRéalis and Aecon Training and Development teams with various training initiatives.
• Additional duties as assigned.

The joint venture is underway to complete the retube, feeder, and boiler replacement (RFBR) of Units 5–8.
