G.G. FORESTRY AND LANDSCAPING CONSULTING based in Nepean, ON is inviting applications for a Landscape Worker who is self-motivated and has good interpersonal skills.

The role is permanent, full-time, with Day, Evening, Early Morning and Morning shifts, starting as soon as possible. The job involves landscape construction, maintenance, planting, mowing, weed control, sod/seed laying, equipment operation, and outdoor site work in various locations.

Qualifications

  • English fluency is required for communication with clients and team members.
  • 2–3 years of experience in related landscape work is preferred.
  • Must be reliable, organized and able to work in a team.
  • Ability to work long hours outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with landscape construction and maintenance tasks.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants; cut grass and rake trash.
  • Lay sod or seed and plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and bulbs.
  • Operate and maintain landscape equipment and perform basic repairs.
  • Water and maintain plants, lawns, and gardens; work in noisy outdoor environments.
  • Work in both urban and rural locations and at heights or in confined spaces as needed.

  • The candidate must assist with landscape construction.
  • The candidate will be responsible for tying.
  • The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.

  • The candidate must cart and spread topsoil and other materials.

  • The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
