What are our expectations?

We seek a Workday Extend Senior Developer to join our RTX HR Technology team in Canada. You will support and enhance Workday Extend applications, collaborate with HR business units, and ensure the successful integration of new features into the system. You will serve as the key contact for Workday Extend apps, maintaining existing solutions and implementing new functionalities.

Daily Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in Workday Extend functionalities.
• Support resolution of production issues at L2 & L3 levels.
• Collaborate to gather business requirements and implement new functionalities.
• Create and enhance applications using PMD Scripting, Orchestration, Model Components, and APIs (REST & SOAP).
• Coordinate with stakeholders regarding system changes and outages.
• Demonstrate new solutions and prototypes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years of HR systems experience.
• 4+ years in a Workday environment.
• 3+ years working specifically with Workday Extend & Studio.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of Workday Extend, Core Integrations, and Studio.
• Proficiency in PMD Scripting, Orchestration, REST & SOAP APIs.
• Advanced report writing, Calculated Fields, and Data Conversion skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical information.
• Self-motivated learner with a passion for technology.
• Workday certifications in Integration Core and Extend & Studio.
• Experience with JSON, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and other development technologies.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMP, ITIL, AGILE, WATERFALL).
