Job summary

Lucas Tree Experts in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a proactive Work Planner to join our team. You will coordinate with property owners and utility customers, schedule projects, and help ensure on-time completion. Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office and Android is preferred; GIS experience is a bonus.

A Class 5 license is required and a Winnipeg police reliability check will be performed. This is a full-time, year-round position with overtime opportunities, competitive benefits, RRSP matching,

Qualifications

• Must be professional with strong communication skills.
• Must be able to work 45 hours weekly, and overtime as necessary.
• Must be able to travel up to 5 days at a time depending on work needs.
• Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass Winnipeg Police Service Reliability screening.
• Must have a current Class 5 license.
• Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
• Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the position (i.e., walk on uneven grounds, carry 50 lbs.).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain First Aid and WHIMIS Certifications.
• Must be able to obtain, and maintain licenses & certifications as required.

Work Planner - Winnipeg, MB $30.00 per hour

Lucas Tree Experts, a leader in the tree care industry, is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Work Planner. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, punctual and reliable with strong communication, customer service, time-management and organization skills. The preferred candidate will have experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and the android mobile platform; experience with GIS or other computerized mapping software a bonus but not required.

The candidate for this position will be required to pass a Winnipeg Police Service Reliability Screening. A Class 5 drivers license is required, while Class 3 would be an asset.

This is a full time, year-round, position with overtime availability.
