ONroute is hiring full-time janitors/cleaners to maintain high cleaning standards across our plazas. The role emphasizes health and safety, disinfection of all areas, and timely responses to requests, with flexible shifts and meal allowances provided during shifts.

Reliable transportation is required as plazas are located along highways 401 and 400, and public transport is unavailable. Prior experience in food service or retail is helpful but not required; ONroute values teamwork and integrity.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and outside the building.
• Clean and disinfect all surface areas including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning.
• Clean restrooms: restock dispensers, empty trash, sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, doors/walls, tile floors, toilets and urinals.
• Pick up trash and empty bins inside and outside.
• Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Respond to employee or guest requests and assist other departments when needed.

The job:

• New Position: No

• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and outside the building
• Cleaning and disinfecting all surface areas including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals
• Picking up any trash and emptying the trash bins inside and outside
• Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Responding to employee or guest requests
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
• Performs additional duties as needed

Reliable transportation is required as our plazas are located on the 401/ 400 highways, and public transportation is not available.
