Job summary

ONroute is hiring full time and part time Team Members to join their crew, welcoming customers, taking orders, and preparing food and drinks at busy plazas along Ontario highways. Reliable transportation is required as plazas are located on the 401/400 highways.

We offer flexible hours, an hourly rate of $18.25, overnight premium, meal allowance, benefits for full-time employees, RRSP matching, paid training, free uniforms, and a respectful, inclusive workplace at ONroute.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, food service or retail is preferred.
• Cashier or customer service experience is beneficial.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders with a friendly attitude.
• Prepare food and drinks.
• Handle mobile orders.
• Assemble orders for take-out and dine-in.
• Keep surfaces clean and sanitary.

• Welcoming customers and greeting them with a positive attitude, taking orders (suggesting your favourites and our feature items), answering questions about menu items and processing payments
• Preparing food and drinks
• Managing mobile orders
• Assembling orders and packaging take-out and indoor dining options
• Keeping all surfaces clean and sanitary to ensure the safety for our customers, team-mates, and yourself

Reliable transportation is required as our plazas are located on the 401/ 400 highways, and public transportation is not available.
