Job summary

The Miller Group in Ontario is seeking Snow Plow Operators to join our winter maintenance team. You will safely operate a combo plow unit to remove snow on local roads and highways under supervision, while maintaining logs and performing routine vehicle maintenance.

Ideal candidates hold a DZ or AZ license, can respond to call-ins within 30 minutes, and are willing to work evenings, weekends, or holidays in extreme winter weather. We offer competitive pay and a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Valid DZ or AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
• Able to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes.
• Experience operating a loader and performing maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, holidays) in winter.
• Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a combo plow unit to remove snow on local roads and highways.
• Maintain documentation such as fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Familiarize yourself with route maps and sand/salt application rates.
• Meet call-in requirements during winter storm events.
