Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with off-road and winter driving.
• Experience in highway maintenance activities (winter maintenance, surface repairs, roadside/bridge maintenance).
• Ability to work day/night shifts and be on-call.
• Valid Class 1 or 3 license; clean driver's abstract.
• First Aid Training.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to work day shifts, night shifts, and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Operate spreader, plow wing, combo unit or tow plow safely to clear local roads as required by contract.
• Operate required winter equipment and maintain cleanliness of the equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
