Job summary

The Government of Alberta is hiring a Hill Operations - Parking Attendant at Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Cypress Hills Provincial Park. This winter seasonal, part-time role involves patrolling the parking area, guiding visitors, and assisting with snow and ice management in outdoor settings.

You will work up to 20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Applicants should have a high school diploma and a valid Alberta driver's license, plus the ability to work outdoors in cold

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Equivalency: one year of education for one year of experience or vice versa.
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions.
• Good English communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with snow and ice removal from sidewalks and public areas.
• Greet visitors and help them park in an organized and safe manner, including signage as required.
• Respond to public inquiries and address safety concerns.
• Perform daily checks; assist with equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain roads and parking lot areas and assist other hill departments as needed.
