Job summary

Mackenzie Investments is hiring a Client Experience Intern for a winter term (January–April 2027). You must be an undergraduate student returning to school after the internship.

The role is full-time for 37.5 hours per week, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will support CX initiatives, journey mapping, and insights work, collaborating with cross-functional teams and learning to translate client and advisor feedback into actionable improvements.

• Assist in developing internal communications for CX initiatives.
• Maintain CX tools and documentation (journey libraries, templates).
• Support survey development and basic analysis, plus visual storytelling.
• Explore AI-driven workflow improvements and opportunities.
• Assist Client Engagement and Digital Portals teams as needed.
• Other duties related to experience improvement and service design.

Position:

We are currently hiring a Client Experience Intern for a winter term position - January to April 2027. Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and returning to school after the internship. This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be eligible to work full-time for the entire duration of the program.

The position reports to the AVP, Client Experience & Insights and supports cross-functional initiatives to improve the experience of financial advisors and investors. This role offers exposure to client insights, journey mapping, service design, and CX strategy.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is organized, curious, and collaborative. Key responsibilities include:

• Support journey mapping activities including research, documentation and insight synthesis
• Assist with gathering and analyzing client and advisor feedback data
• Help track and document CX initiatives, milestones, and deliverables across workstreams
• Capture and summarize meeting outcomes, workshop insights and action items
• Assist in developing internal communication materials to support CX initiatives
• Organize and maintain CX tools and documentation (e.g., journey libraries, templates)
• Support survey development, basic analysis, and visual storytelling
• Use of AI models in streamlining workflows and process improvement opportunities
• Supporting the Client Engagement and Digital Portals teams as needed
• Other duties as assigned related to experience improvement and service design

The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $49,000 - $51,000, which is determined based on year of study, IGM program, geographic location and candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for paid time off.
