Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. (LHL) seeks team-oriented individuals for winter and seasonal maintenance of Ontario highways, using heavy trucks and equipment. A DZ or AZ license and a 3-year commercial abstract are required.

Compensation ranges from $25.50 to $33.50 per hour, with premiums for AZ operation, grader use, snow plows and night shifts. Shifts are 8–12 hours, five days on with two off or six days on with one off. Local applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding tasks (e.g., lifting 50 lbs)
• Valid AZ or DZ license with air endorsement
• Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial driver’s abstract
• Experience operating snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment as required
• Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round, including Labourer duties
• Work outside in all weather conditions
