Job summary

Skeena Gold + Silver Limited is seeking Mining Heavy Equipment Operators for Eskay Creek Mine in British Columbia. This site-based camp role operates on a 15 days on/13 days off rotation, with paid flights and ground transportation to site.

Ideal candidates are safety-focused, with 3–5+ years of mining equipment experience. You'll operate loaders, dozers, graders, and hydraulic excavators, read grade stakes and blueprints, and work 12-hour shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 3–5+ years of experience operating heavy mining equipment on active mine sites.
• Proficiency with loaders, dozers, graders, and hydraulic excavators (Komatsu WA800, WA900, PC2000, PC4000, D375, GD955).
• Experience with large-scale material handling, road construction, and supporting drilling/blasting operations.
• Ability to read grade stakes, blueprints, and civil layouts.
• Strong adherence to safety policies, SOPs, and hazard assessments.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to climb equipment, lift up to 50 lb (23 kg).
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

Mining Heavy Equipment Operators are needed at Skeena Gold + Silver’s Eskay Creek Mine in British Columbia. This is a site-based camp position operating on a 15 days on/13 days off rotation. Operators will handle a variety of heavy mining equipment in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. The ideal candidates are experienced, safety-conscious, and able to work in remote, rugged conditions.
