Job summary

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in data science, CS, statistics, math, business analytics, risk management, or finance.
• Interest in AI, ML, data analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or similar languages for data analysis.
• Experience with data preparation, cleaning, and analysis.
• Experience using Power BI or similar dashboarding tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Able to collaborate with stakeholders and manage priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Support the automation of monthly reporting within the risk and intelligence function.
• Assist in the delivery of machine learning, LLM, and other advanced analytics initiatives across GRIT.
• Drive process improvements across data collection, analysis, and dashboard development to generate actionable insights.
• Validate AI and analytics models to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain scripts to test model performance and automate monitoring using Python or R.
• Support data quality monitoring and preparation within the Enterprise Data Lake (EDL).
• Collaborate with analytics, automation, and business stakeholders to support strategic risk initiatives.
• Assist with documenting processes, procedures, project work, and ad hoc requests as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages used for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with data preparation, cleaning, and analysis.
• Experience using Power BI or similar dashboarding and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, ask thoughtful questions, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography, and relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be pro‑rated based on the length of the work term.
