Job summary

YMCA Day Camp sites in St. Catharines, Grimsby, Welland, Port Colborne, and Niagara Falls seek a Site Supervisor to lead camp staff, ensure safe, inclusive programming, and uphold YMCA standards.

The role is seasonal, 24 hours per week, with Monday–Friday daytime hours and occasional evenings/weekends. Training provided; strong family communication required. Outdoor work and regular presence at camp sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Current Standard First Aid/CPR(C) Certification is required.
• Minimum two years’ experience supervising or delivering camp/child & youth programs.
• PVSC (Police Vulnerable Sector Check) if over 18 is required or requested.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily camp operations and ensure safe, engaging programming.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and feedback to camp staff.
• Maintain staff-camper ratios and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Communicate with families and act as on-site contact for daily operations.
