Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Mississauga is offering an internship where you will create and revise 2D/3D drawings under group supervision. You will collaborate with Design, Analytical and Manufacturing teams to define parts for turbine components and support engine production in the Product Center Engineering Component Modules.

The program requires enrollment in a Canadian college or university, on-site work, and a focus on Mechanical Design and Drafting or Mechanical Aerospace Engineering

Qualifications

• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Be enrolled in a Canadian college or university throughout your internship.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Design and Drafting or Mechanical Aerospace Engineering Technology.
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 (or similar CAD software).
• Be developing the ability to define parts in 2D and 3D.
• Develop applied mathematical skills (e.g. tolerance stack-up calculations).
• Industrious, self-motivated, methodical; enjoy team-based work.

• Create or revise detail and assembly drawings in 2D or 3D.
• Collaborate with Design, Analytical and Manufacturing teams.
• Support engine production in the Product Center Engineering Component Modules.
