Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil, Quebec, invites a design internship for the Product Center Engineering (ECN) team. You will learn design steps for engineering changes and prepare documentation for conformity, working with suppliers, project engineers, and material specialists.

This on-site internship requires enrollment in a Canadian university and eligibility to work in Canada, with a Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering focus.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
• On-site work at the Longueuil location if applicable.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong organizational and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow the design steps for engineering changes to reduce non-conformities or address supplier requests.
• Prepare and review documentation to validate change conformity (materials, tolerances, etc.).
• Interface with supplier, project engineer, material specialist, buyer, client support, and drafters.
• Improve our processes.
