Compensation & Benefits:

• Proposed pay rate of $21.00 to $27.00+ per hour, adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary

Seeking PSIA Level 1+2+3 Ski Instructors for full-time and part-time seasonal positions from December to mid-April. Must be 18+, available on weekends and holidays, with at least one season of teaching experience. Positions involve working primarily with adult students, with opportunities to teach youth programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging ski lessons to groups and individuals, focusing on safety, confidence, and enjoyment.
• Develop rapport with students, adapt teaching styles, and ensure safety and fun.
• Maintain safety standards and assist with operational duties such as registration, equipment fitting, and facility upkeep.
• Uphold Copper Mountain Resort's values, policies, and standards of conduct.

Additional Duties

• Participate in resort events and promotional activities.
• Support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Good physical condition, able to stand and work outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fluent in English, with sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient for instruction.
• Minimum PSIA Level 1 certification or equivalent.
• Own ski equipment.
• At least 18 years old.

Preferred Skills

• Minimum of 2 years instructing experience preferred.
