Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Mississauga, ON is seeking an Intern in Systems Engineering for Avionics and Electrical for Winter 2027. The 12-month internship offers a hybrid workplace, with opportunities to learn at several Bombardier conferences and sites.

Responsibilities include supporting governance, managing databases, KPI tracking, and preparing meetings with cross-functional teams. Applicants should be students in relevant engineering fields and possess strong English communication

Qualifications

Student in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, computer or software engineering.
Good oral and technical communication skills in English (French is an asset).
Proficient in MS Office suite, Office365; PowerBI and Excel.
Working knowledge of CATIA V5; MATLAB; Python or SciLab scripts.
Good interpersonal skills to work with the team and other groups.
Able to work independently and show drive and initiative.
Occasional work outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

Support Systems Engineering team in investigating issues and governance.
Support engineering deliverables by managing databases and following up on actions.
Track KPI governance for Bombardier Operational Excellence System.
Facilitate meetings, create presentation packages, and issue timely minutes.
Develop good working relationships with various Bombardier departments.
