Job summary

Puppy Sphere is hiring a part-time Event Facilitator in Winnipeg to join our fast-growing team. You’ll help deliver puppy-focused events, handle setup through breakdown, and ensure a safe, welcoming experience for guests and puppies. Weekend availability is required, with additional weekday shifts a plus.

Role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adaptability in a startup environment while promoting animal welfare and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in the service or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Availability to work weekends (at least one day per week).
• Availability for a minimum of 4 shifts per month.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.

Responsibilities

• Set up the studio and puppy area at the start of each shift, ensuring everything is clean and ready.
• Care for puppies throughout the day, including water/food and comfort.
• Welcome and check in guests, creating a warm and organized arrival experience.
• Conduct welcome briefings and set expectations for each class.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness across the studio and puppy space.
• Assist with decor and smooth transitions between classes.
• Escalate guest experience or puppy welfare concerns to supervisors promptly.
