Job summary

Arterra Wines Canada is seeking energetic Winery Associates to provide engaging wine tasting experiences and informative tours. You will assist customers, ensure excellent service, and support events and sales in a fast-paced winery environment.

Ideal candidates have retail experience, Smart Serve certification, and the ability to lift 40 lbs. Evening and weekend availability is required; multilingual skills are a plus. Compensation includes $18/hr+ gratuities/incentives and full training.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Retail experience is a must-have.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with wine tasting and purchases.
• Conduct entertaining and informative winery tours with structured tastings for groups.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Operate a computer-based POS system and perform opening/closing duties.
• Assist with special events and dinner service in various settings.
• Represent the winery at offsite events and stock wine/giftware.
