Job summary

WSP is seeking a WindServer System Administrator to ensure reliability, performance, and ongoing evolution of our WindServer platform. You will support analysts and project teams and help deliver trusted data for smarter energy decisions.

You will work with Windows Server 2022, SQL, scripting, and networking to troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and maintain on-prem infrastructure. Collaboration with senior admins and the WindServer PM is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C#, Transact-SQL, JavaScript, TextScript, jQuery, and PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2022 environments.
• Experience with firewall administration and computer networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Synology DiskStation Manager and AWS Storage Gateway.
• Experience using Visual Studio and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to WindServer users and analysts, ensuring a reliable and responsive experience
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application, server, and configuration issues across the WindServer environment
• Implement code updates and server configuration changes to maintain system performance and stability
• Support the maintenance and operation of on-premise server infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with senior administrators to learn, understand, and enhance WindServer architecture
• Partner with the WindServer Product Manager to support product growth, improvements, and future enhancements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen system reliability and scalability
