Job summary
Acuren Wind Canada Inc. is recruiting for experienced Wind Turbine Service and Maintenance Technicians to support projects throughout Canada for the 2026 season.
Rotations are 6 weeks on and 1 week off, with the week off optional. The typical schedule is 5 days on, 2 days off, at 8 hours per day, varying by project and client requirements. Remote locations across Canada are involved and flights and accommodations are provided.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in wind turbine service or equivalent industrial maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
- Ability to travel extensively and work in remote locations across Canada.
- Commitment to safety and following procedures (LOTO, BST, ART, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems within SGRE turbines.
- Inspect and ensure repairs on wind turbine blades meet company standards.
- Follow SGRE safety procedures and LOTO protocols.
- Utilize SGRE diagnostic tools, software, and documentation to carry out repairs.
- Document repair and inspection findings as part of the team.
