Job summary

Acuren Wind Canada Inc. is recruiting for Wind Turbine Maintenance Electricians to support projects throughout Western Canada for the 2026 season. Location: remote locations across SK & AB with a 6 weeks on / 1 week off travel pattern.

This role involves maintenance on SGRE wind turbines, rope access, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Requirements include Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification (fourth year considered) and SGRE/GWO certifications as assets.

Qualifications

Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification required or fourth-year applicants considered.
SGRE and GWO certifications are strong assets to have.
Minimum 1–2 years of wind turbine service or equivalent industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems within SGRE turbines.
Inspect and ensure repairs on wind turbine blades meet company standards.
Follow SGRE safety procedures and LOTO protocols.
Utilize SGRE diagnostic tools, software, and documentation to carry out repairs.
Work as part of a safety-first team and document repair and inspection findings.
Work at heights and in confined spaces, maintaining safety regulations and procedures.
