Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport and unload oilfield servicing or drilling equipment.
• Plan trip logistics and ensure all documentation is in order.
• Perform inspections of vehicle systems and equipment.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly according to safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatcher and customers.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Position: Winch Tractor Operator

Type: Full-time

Pay: Commensurate with experience

Duties And Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport and unload oilfield servicing or drilling equipment.
• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods.
• Preform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods.
• Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices.
• Will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Weekend work, on call work, overtime as required.
• Travel and/or camp work.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driver’s License with clean abstract.
• Knowledge of proper chain down techniques.
• Map reading/LSD.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, time management techniques, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work with little supervision in a professional manor.
