B&R Eckel’s Transport Ltd. in Grande Prairie, AB, is seeking a Winch Tractor Operator to join our team. You will transport and load oilfield equipment, plan trips, and perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 licence and clean abstract.
• Knowledge of proper chain-down techniques.
• Map reading and LSD knowledge.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and unload oilfield equipment.
• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documents.
• Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure cargo is secured per safety and DG rules.
• Communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and customers.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Weekend/on-call work and overtime may be required.
• Travel and/or camp work may be required.

We are currently seeking Winch Tractor Operator to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and unload oilfield servicing or drilling equipment.
• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods.
• Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and dangerous goods procedures.
• Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers using communication devices.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Weekend work, on-call work, and overtime may be required.
• Travel and/or camp work may be required.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Knowledge of proper chain down techniques.
• Map reading / LSD knowledge.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, time management, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work with little supervision in a professional manner.
