B&R Eckel’s Transport Ltd. is seeking a Bed Truck Operator to support oilfield transport work from the Bonnyville area.

You will move rig buildings, derricks, matting, and other equipment safely and efficiently. This role supports safe, reliable transportation service with a team that values practical training, strong communication, and a workplace culture built around employee safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Map reading and LSD knowledge.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to work with little supervision in a professional manner.
• Good depth perception and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Move rig buildings, derricks, matting, and other oilfield equipment.
• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods.
• Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and dangerous goods procedures.
• Communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and customers using communication devices.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Weekend work, on-call work, and overtime may be required.
• Travel and/or camp work may be required.

• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods.
• Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and dangerous goods procedures.
• Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers using communication devices.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
