Job description

Our client is an established Family Law firm with a growing Wills and Estates practice in North York. They are currently in expansion mode and are looking to add a talented Wills and Estates Lawyer to join and co-lead their Estates practice.

What you will need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a law firm. You must also have excellent knowledge and understanding of wills and estates law and procedures and be familiar with estate planning (including drafting of wills, power of attorney and trusts), estate administration, probate of wills, estate litigation and all other matters as required. In this new role you must be able to work independently or under the direction of senior lawyers as part of an established and growing team. You should have excellent communication skills and appreciate the importance of providing outstanding, cost effective and responsive legal services to clients. Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Other key success factors include strong analytical, research and writing skills.
