Job summary

Fountain Tire is seeking a knowledgeable and safety-oriented full-time Safety Specialist to support stores in western Canada. Reporting to the Manager of Safety, you will enhance the Safety Excellence program and drive safety training, audits, and regulatory compliance across locations.

The role requires travel around 40% of the year, collaboration with operations and training teams, and leadership in safety recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
• Certified Auditor status is a considerable asset.
• Ability to travel ~40% of the year to Fountain Tire locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site internal safety audits at locations twice per year.
• Support WCB filings and incident investigations with managers.
• Promote safety awareness through trainings and partnerships.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs with Learning & Development.
• Lead safety programs and coordinate audits with partners.
