Job summary

BioPharma Services Inc. is seeking a Director, Business Development (West Coast) to promote and sell its early-stage clinical services to global pharma and biotech clients. You will work remotely from the U.S.

West Coast, targeting strategic accounts and leading cross-functional teams to meet revenue targets. Reporting to the CCO, you will develop account plans, manage proposals, and attend industry conferences.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary degree or diploma in a healthcare related discipline.
• 5+ years solid technical, project management or sales experience in the CRO industry.
• Experience selling clinical services (Phase I-IV) preferred.
• Established client contacts in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• To promote and sell BioPharma’s early-stage clinical services and meet and/or exceed established sales targets.
• Build and establish long-term client relationships.
• Develop and execute Account plans for key clients in the industry.
• Liaise with Contracts and Proposals to manage and approve all Budget Proposals submitted in response to RFPs/RFIs.
• Lead and manage the process to meet client deliverables.
• Attend and/or organize key industry conferences and client events (5-10 meetings per year).
• Report key opportunities and sales pipeline to the CCO.
• Assist the COO in forming and executing business development strategies.
• Provide marketing intelligence and marketing support.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GCP and ICH guidelines.
