Wellness Centre Coordinator
School District 83, in collaboration with Shuswap North Okanagan Division of Family Practice and CMHA operates a Wellness Centre out of Salmon Arm Secondary School in Salmon Arm and Eagle River Secondary School in Sicamous. The coordinator will work closely with School District No. 83 staff, various specialists, physician groups, health authority and other community partners to develop and coordinate local processes related to the Wellness Centre's mission. The role of the Wellness Centre Coordinator is to support the Wellness Centre Teams in the day-to-day operation of the Centres. This position is an annual contract managed by School District No. 83. As such, the coordinator must follow all School District policies and procedures. The coordinator is directly supervised by the District Vice Principal of Student Wellness.

This position is offered as a temporary contract (Immediately – June 30, 2027) at a rate of $33.86/hr. The contract may be extended, depending on funding availability.
The Wellness Centre operates according to the school calendar. Closures include Spring Break, Summer Break, and Winter Break. It is expected that few (if any) hours will be worked by the Wellness Centre Coordinator during these times. Work hours should typically occur when students are in school. There is flexibility in the work schedule but typically work hours will occur from 8:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday. It is expected that one day a week will be worked at Salmon Arm Secondary School and one day worked at Eagle River Secondary School.
