Job summary

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Welders/Spot Welders for an upcoming assignment in Southern Ontario. The role involves 12-hour shifts, 5 days per week on project work, with a temporary contract and lodging as required.

You will earn $35 per hour before overtime, plus a $30 per day meal allowance when lodging is required, paid travel, and hotel accommodations provided when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding or spot welding
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Physically able to bend, lift, stand and reach
• Fluent command of the English language (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Operate machines in a manufacturing environment
• Welding or spot welding experience
• Read blueprints/drawings
• Set up, monitor, operate and troubleshoot assigned machines
• Inspect parts to specifications
• Make adjustments or tool changes as necessary
