Job summary

ICE Western Sales Ltd. is seeking a Welding Robot Operator to setup, program, and operate robotic welding systems in its Calgary-area facility. You will monitor, adjust, and maintain the robot weld process to meet quality standards and support continuous improvement projects.

The role requires at least 2 years in welding/manufacturing, familiarity with robotic equipment, and ability to read technical drawings. Competitive benefits and a team-oriented environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing or welding environment.
• Experience operating robotic welding equipment in a certified setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with CSA W47.1 is an asset.
• Ability to read technical drawings and welding specs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate robotic welding systems for production welding.
• Adjust welding parameters for weld quality and efficiency.
• Monitor equipment and perform adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on welding equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality specs and standards.
• Complete minor weld repairs or touch-ups as required.
• Load and unload parts from robotic cells.
• Read and follow drawings and production docs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in robotic welding.
