Job summary

Schulte Industries in Canada is seeking a Robotic Welder - Night Shift to weld and program assemblies on a robotic welder to ensure they meet the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.

Essential duties include welding and programming, editing welds for efficiency and quality, manual welding of hard-to-reach areas, safe handling of jigs, and changing fixtures in the robot cell while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least some secondary education.
• 3-5 years of welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Weld and program assemblies designated for the robotic welder.
• Edit weld programs to improve efficiency and quality.
• Manual welding of inaccessible areas by robot.
• Proper handling of jigs and safety procedures.
• Changing out the jigs/fixtures in the robot cell.
• Spot weld assemblies before robotic welder welds them.
• Cleaning welds and removing splatter after welds.
• Identifying weldment with assigned stamp.
• Follow First Part Checked procedures.

• 1. Weld and program assemblies designated for the robotic welder


• 2. Edit weld programs to improve efficiency and quality


• 3. Manual welding of inaccessible areas by robot


• 4. Proper handle and use of jigs safety and properly


• 5. Changing out the jigs/fixtures in the robot cell


• 6. Spot weld assemblies before robotic welder welds them


• 7. Cleaning welds and removal of splatter when weld is completed


• 8. Identifying weldment with assigned stamp


• 9. Follow through on First Part Checked procedure
