Job summary

PTC Construction, a division of Paterson GlobalFoods, invites skilled welders to join our team for ongoing repair and maintenance projects in demanding environments such as grain terminals and feed mills. You will weld, fit, and help install steel components while following safety practices.

Job description

We are seeking motivated, hardworkingwelders to join our team for ongoing repair and maintenance projects. This role involves working in demanding environments, including grain terminals and feed mills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fitting for structural and mechanical components
• Repair and maintain equipment and structures in industrial settings
• Operate tools and equipment
• Work safely at heights and around heavy equipment
• Assist with installation, alignment, and assembly of steel components
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of welding experience
• Experience with fitting and related trade work
• Ability to read and follow blueprints
• Comfortable working at heights
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work 12-hour shifts
• Physically fit and able to work in extreme conditions (cold, heat, dust, and dirty environments)
• Willing to travel and work away from home (10 days on and 4 days off)
• Experience working in grain terminals or feed mills is considered a strong asset
• Valid drivers license
