Job summary

SMS Equipment in Williams Lake, BC is seeking a Journeyperson Welder to repair, fabricate, and assemble Komatsu and other heavy equipment. You will follow layouts, blueprints, and work orders to deliver high-quality results in a safe, fast-paced environment.

The role is an Individual Contributor with a 7x7 schedule and a base wage of $52.31 per hour, plus additional premiums. You will work primarily in the field, with some shop time, and contribute to maintenance and repair projects at mining

• Follow layouts, blueprints, and work orders accurately.
• Customize mobile equipment or parts per customer specifications.
• Conduct failure analysis and develop welding repair processes with Service Manager.
• Provide welding support primarily in the field, occasionally in the shop.
• Work safely in a challenging environment with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Do
