Job description

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter who is capable of welding fabrications and parts according to supplied drawings. You will be joining a custom fabrication company that designs, engineers, and manufactures pressure / process vessels and reactors, mixers / agitators / dispersers, and heat exchangers.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding fabrications and parts assembly as per supplied drawings.
• Ensure quality and precision in welding tasks, adhering to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Maintain high attention to detail in all aspects of welding and fitting work.
• 5+ years of Welder / Fitter experience.
• 5+ years of MIG welding experience.
• Proficient blueprint reading abilities.
• High attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• TSSA Welding certified.

You will work in a very large, well-organized, and maintained welding shop. The environment can be hot when it's hot outside, but there are numerous fans and large bay doors open for air circulation. Straight shifts are from Monday to Thursday, 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodstock, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00 / hr.
