Job Title: Welder and Fitter

We are seeking experienced welders and fitters to join our team, working on structural components in the oil and gas industry. The role involves welding using FCAW, MCAW, and SMAW techniques.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld structural components according to specifications.
• Utilize FCAW, MCAW, and SMAW welding techniques.
• Interpret and work from blueprints.
• Perform fabrication tasks with precision.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of welding and fitting experience.
• Proficiency in FCAW and MCAW welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with structural welding is an asset.
• Welding tickets (CWB, TSSA) are considered an asset.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is large, open, and clean, with an organized shop. You will be working on large structural components. The position offers straight day shifts from Monday to Thursday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cambridge, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
