Job summary

Leading Manufacturing Group Inc. in Vermilion, AB is seeking a skilled Welder to join our metal fabrication team. You will interpret welding specs, operate welding and flame-cutting equipment, and contribute to metal part fabrication and repair.

You should have a Secondary school certificate and 3–5 years of welding experience; Red Seal certification preferred. The position is day shifts with weekend work, 32 hours weekly, on-site, English-speaking environment.

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 3–5 years of welding experience.
• Welder Red Seal certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automatic welding equipment.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
