Job summary

I Matheson & Company Ltd. in Nova Scotia is seeking a skilled welder for a permanent, full-time role. The position involves outdoors, dusty and hot conditions in metal fabrication, reading blueprints, and performing welding with SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SAW processes.

Responsibilities include welding, cutting, inspecting welds, reading drawings, and operating related equipment. Heavy lifting is involved; on-site amenities and parking are provided with flexible hours and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent
• 3–5 years welding experience
• Experience in metal fabrication preferred
