A leading company in waste management is seeking a Welder to perform maintenance and repairs on refuse containers and compactors. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, welding skills, and a commitment to safety. This role offers various benefits including medical, dental, and tuition assistance.
The Welder performs preventive maintenance, fabrication welding, refurbishes refuse containers and compactors, rehabilitates scuffed paint, installs decals, and ensures accurate repair and replacement of components.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, equipment maintenance and repair experience, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, be 18 years or older, and be legally eligible to work in the US.
Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills, a proven commitment to work, and a dedication to safety are required. Welding and fabrication skills are expected, and the candidate must be self-directed.
