Job summary

AG Growth International Inc. is seeking a Welder at our Swift Current, SK facility. The role focuses on welding components for agricultural equipment, following job orders, drawings, and safety guidelines.

You will contribute to production, station setups, and quality control while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety policies. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of welding experience, manufacturing exposure is a plus, and an interest in pursuing CWB certification.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of welding experience.
• Manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Ability and interest to gain CWB certification.
• Able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work within confined spaces.
• Familiarity with Jigs & fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work order actions, or verbal instructions ensuring that tolerances are met
• Clean work area and equipment, grind or chip excess metal from welded products
• Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet quality specifications
• Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders
• Complete mechanical installation of bolted assemblies
• Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition, reporting maintenance services when required
• Complete tasks while adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for welding on a variety of agricultural equipment components following job order specifications. The main areas of focus include welding competence, meeting production requirements, station set up, health & safety and quality control.

Responsibilities
