Job Summary and Main Responsibilities
The welder performs the assembly and welding of stainless steel parts for our wall valves. Occasionally, they also assist with assembly. Their tasks include:
- Reading and interpreting manufacturing plans
- Assembling and welding various parts using MIG welding
- Operating lifting equipment and tools used to shape the parts to be assembled
- Inspecting the produced parts visually and using measuring instruments to validate their quality and compliance
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times

Skills We Are Looking For
- Diploma of Vocational Studies in welding or welding-assembly
- Experience in MIG welding
- Experience in welding with stainless steel (an asset)
- Valid forklift operator’s license (an asset)
- Experience in reading plans
- Communication skills, leadership, and good team spirit
- Good physical condition (the loads to be lifted can sometimes reach 40 pounds)
- Versatility and autonomy
