Job Summary and Main Responsibilities

The Welder, Aluminum Specialist, understands and interprets drawings, and is able to carry out both assembly and welding responsibilities for the various types of parts we produce, all with minimal supervision.

Main Responsibilities

• Welding and assembling various aluminum parts using TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW);
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings;
• Have a good understanding of welding parameters and their effects;
• Inspect produced parts visually and using measuring instruments to validate quality and conformity;
• Operate welding robots and perform basic handling;
• Operate lifting equipment and tools used to shape parts for assembly;
• Maintain and promote a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Perform all other related tasks.

Know-How Required

• Strong interpersonal skills (integrity, support, teamwork, customer focus);
• Good organizational skills, rigor, and a methodical work approach, with attention to quality and execution speed;
• Versatility and potential for development;
• Good safety practices in performing duties.

Skills We Are Looking For

• Diploma of vocational studies in welding or welding and fitting;
• Experience as an aluminum welder;
• Experience in TIG and MIG welding (GTAW, GMAW);
• Experience in plan reading;
• Experience with welding robots (asset);
• Experience with lifting equipment (asset).

What We Offer

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime, 40 hours in 4.5 days (ending at 11:00 on Fridays);
• Salary: depending on experience;
• 7 paid days during the holiday season;
