Job summary

SUPERBUILD INDUSTRIES LTD in British Columbia is seeking a skilled Welder to perform welding tasks on-site at our location. The role requires reading and interpreting welding specifications and blueprints, and operating welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts.

You will also handle flame-cutting, metal shaping machines, and minor repairs. A secondary school diploma and 1–2 years of experience are preferred, with strong teamwork and reliability essential.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
• English language required.

• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
