Job summary

Steelhaus Technologies Inc. in Calgary, AB is seeking a Welder to join our team. The role focuses on MIG and TIG welding on a production line, while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adherence to safety protocols.

You will interpret blueprints, prepare materials, and coordinate with Quality Control and shipping teams to ensure high-quality outputs. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of welding experience, strong attention to detail, and ability to read and follow instructions

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years welding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of welding techniques.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Lucid System.
• Demonstrated ability to work to exact drawing and order specifications.
• Ability to read and follow instruction from order on Lucid System.
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail to create the highest quality level products.
• Experience using hand tools and equipment, along with experience using measuring.

Responsibilities

• MIG/TIG production line welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints or process specifications.
• Recognize defective welds, knowing the cause, and repair procedure for the defective area or part.
• Conducting checks to guarantee assigned equipment is operating and in good working order.
• Prepare materials for welding, using magnet drill and hand grinders.
• Effectively communicate with the Quality Control Team, Shipper/Receiver, and other employees, or supervisors.
• Maintain an organized work area and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are properly stored when not in use.
• Ensure the assigned work area is clean and free from hazards.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, including always wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

About The Role

The Welder will be responsible for creating non‑pressure welds using MIG and TIG welding techniques and maintaining cleanliness of the work area. Organizing tools and materials to ensure proper assembly of the required product.
