Insight Global is seeking a skilled Welder to join the Modern Elevator manufacturing team in Burlington, Ontario. You will perform structural welding and fabrication on elevator components in a fast-paced production setting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of welding experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in every weld.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CWB Certification (e.g., Flat 1GF, Horizontal 2G).
• 3–5 years of welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding on elevator components, frames, and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to complete fabrication projects accurately.
• Set up and operate welding equipment in accordance with company and CWB standards.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Work closely with fabrication and assembly teams to support production schedules.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all health and safety procedures.
• Assist with fitting, positioning, and assembling metal components prior to welding.
• Identify and resolve welding or fabrication issues to maintain production efficiency.

Pay Transparency

The expected hour rate for this position falls between $34 to $38/hr
