Job summary

Overlanders Manufacturing LP in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a skilled MIG & TIG Welder for a steady, production-focused role. You will weld and assemble metal parts, following established procedures and fixtures to ensure consistent quality.

Expect an afternoon shift (Mon-Thu, 4:15pm–2:15am) with Fridays off. Candidates should have 1–2 years MIG/TIG experience, read shop drawings, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job description

We’re looking for a skilled MIG & TIG Welder to join our team in a steady, production-focused environment. This role involves welding and assembling metal parts using established procedures and fixtures to ensure consistency and quality. If you’re reliable, detail-oriented, and prefer predictable, hands‑on work, we’d like to hear from you.

What You’ll Need
  • Minimum 1-2 years of MIG & TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings and work instructions.
  • Comfortable performing consistent, production welding.
  • Willingness to learn and work well with others.
  • Able to follow written and spoken instructions in English.
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Robotic welding experience is an asset, but not required (training opportunities available).
Employment Details
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced production setting with repetitive tasks.
  • Shift: Afternoon shift - Monday to Thursday, 4:15pm to 2:15am (40 hours per week).
  • Schedule Perk: Every Friday off (no rotating shifts).
  • Pay: CA$22 - CA$26 per hour (hourly rate based on experience and weld test).
  • Additional hourly night‑shift premium for all hours worked on the Monday - Thursday afternoon shift (4:15pm - 2:15am).
  • Benefits: Available after probation period.
