Job summary

Overlanders Manufacturing LP is seeking dedicated workers to support our operations in Abbotsford, BC. The role involves performing a variety of metal fabrication tasks in a manufacturing setting, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 4:15pm to 2:15am, totaling 40 hours weekly. Pay ranges CA$20–CA$22 per hour, with an additional night-shift premium. Benefits accrue after probation, including medical, dental, RRSP matching, and employee programs.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Able to work afternoon/night shifts (Mon-Thu, 4:15pm–2:15am).
  • Ability to follow English written and spoken directions.
  • Beneficial: willingness to undergo probationary period benefits.

  • Follow safety procedures to ensure accident-free operations.
  • Perform duties such as tap, riveting, shakeout, bead blaster, sheet roller, grain, drill, gap press, pem, diacro, plunge, shear, lathe, mill and burnish.
  • Use proper material per MRP or supervisor instructions.
  • Keep work area and equipment tidy and clean.
  • Work efficiently to meet or exceed standard cycle times.
  • Ensure part correctness before QC handover.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Follow safety procedures to ensure accident-free operations.
  • Perform duties such as tap, riveting, shakeout, bead blaster, sheet roller, grain, drill, gap press, pem, diacro, plunge, shear, lathe, mill and burnish.
  • Use proper material as per MRP or per special instructions from Supervisor or Scheduler.
  • Keep work area and equipment tidy and clean.
  • Work efficiently to meet or exceed standard cycle times.
  • Ensure the part is correct to the best of your ability before handing over to QC for approval.
Employment Details
  • Pay: CA$20 - CA$22 per hour (hourly rate based on experience)
  • Afternoon/Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:15pm to 2:15am (40 hours per week)
  • Additional hourly night-shift premium for all hours worked on the Monday - Thursday afternoon shift (4:15pm - 2:15am)
  • Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs. repetitively.
  • You must be reliable, pleasant and can be trained.
  • Ability to follow English written and spoken directions.
